Black feminist, activist, writer, scholar, she also created the Sistah Vegan Project that looks how race and gender shape the vegan experience in US. So we’re gonna talk about food justice, health, women health, pregnancy, breast feeding, ableism, and how the Black community is not a monolith. It was in Berkeley (CA), September 2014.
